Life-giving. Raw, freshly pressed, enzyme-rich juice provides us with essential minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids, carbohydrates, proteins and much more. All of which are vital to maintaining optimum health. Many valuable nutrients are lost during the bottling process from off-the-shelf juices.
Natural. The nutrients in raw fruits and vegetables are far easier to absorb and utilise than the man-made nutrients added to many of our foods, and also made into pill form. These unnatural forms are in by no means an appropriate alternative to eating and drinking the real thing. In fact, there is no alternative, you are far better off physically, mentally and financially with changing your attitude towards food and health.
Maximum benefit. Eating fruit and raw vegetables in their natural raw state does provide us with generous amounts of vitamins and minerals, but we are only able to obtain their maximum benefits in juice form. This is because their goodness is locked into their fibre which is usually expelled from the body when eaten. However, when juiced, their goodness is released, enabling us to absorb their highly concentrated nutrients very quickly and efficiently. As fibre is essential to health, it is important to eat raw fruit and vegetables in addition to a juice.
Acid-Alkaline balance. A healthy body with normal immune function requires a balanced and alkaline internal environment, i.e. a pH of 7 or higher of the body's fluids and tissues. When your body is in balance only then are you able to assimilate nutrients and minerals. Acid is formed in the body from the consumption of animal products (meat, fish, eggs, dairy), processed foods (white flour, sugar etc.), drugs and chemical sweeteners, which results in self-poisoning of the body over the time and therefore disease. However, fresh vegetables and many fruits are alkaline forming and allow the body to be in balance and heal itself when necessary.
Easily meet and exceed daily fruit and vegetable requirements. Very few people eat enough raw fruits and vegetables. Juicing provides a quick and easy way to increase your consumption of these foods, and is recommended in addition to a high fibre diet.
Nutritional variety. The quantity and variety of fruit and vegetables consumed in our Juice far exceeds the amounts and variety eaten on a daily basis, ensuring the intake of the wide variety of mineral and vitamins required for optimum health.
No matter what your age, it is never too late to start drinking your fruits and vegetables! Juices can flush toxins from your body, are good for your weight, heart and other organs, circulation and overall wellbeing. Alongside a healthy, balanced, whole food, natural diet, a freshly pressed juice will benefit your health in many ways.
